The latest project in the Build Well portfolio is a transitional design in the beautiful Hither Woods section of Montauk. Nestled on a hilltop in the woods, this project incorporates site grading and nature into the architecture and engineering in a way only a seasoned development team can do.

This 5,500 sf home will utilize mineral wool insulation both inside and outside the walls and roof to minimize energy transfer and to protect occupants from off-gassing spray foam insulation.

Other features include 10,000 watts of solar energy, VRF heat pump technology, imported south-facing windows to maximize energy efficiency, an infinity pool, and a rooftop deck with a hot tub and ocean views.

Because of the challenges of the hilltop site and the desire for large south-facing glazing, the structure is designed with steel and supplemental engineered lumber. This is another complex project being delivered by the Build Well team that is redefining residential construction in Montauk and beyond.
