Westchester Net Zero

90 Fargo Lane, Irvington NY
Completed: June 2023

An ultra-modern home with extensive glazing for open light and air that doesn’t use energy and a swimming pool that doesn’t use chemicals? Yes, it is possible.

Welcome to the first net-zero home in Irvington New York. A newly built 7,000 sf residence with a natural swimming pool, 30,000 watts of solar, and triple-paned passive house certified windows.

The insulation in this home is also second to none—utilizing a combination of mineral wool and blown-in cellulose, all petro-chemical free insulation, that also offers more than 3x the normal protection from energy transfer that a normal house does.

Top that off with high-efficiency heat pump technology for creating hot water, heating, and cooling, and energy recovery ventilation and you have the first ever net-zero building in the River Towns of New York.

How it comes together.
