Evan Parganos

PE, CEM, LEED AP
Evan Parganos is an entrepreneur, developer, and engineer with a passion for design and development, plus the impact it has on the environment and most importantly, the community. 

With over 20 years of experience in the architecture/engineering/construction industry, he has developed a reputation for being client-focused. Evan’s strengths lie in making sure business goals are met, and budgets are within the scope of the project. He does not shy away from complex projects that require forward-thinking solutions. 

Evan is passionate about investing and developing properties and homes for individuals and families with the end goal of creating a place that ultimately will yield net-zero emissions. This is a testament to his commitment to being a part of the solution by creating a sustainable economy and future in the tri-state area.

Evan is the founder and senior partner of two successful construction consulting firms, EP Engineering and EP Inspections & Commissioning (EPIC) in New York City. With two companies under his belt, it led him to start his new venture, Build Well Development which currently has a portfolio of several properties within New York and New Jersey. He recently completed Montauk Panoramic, a multi-million single-family project in Montauk, and is in plans to acquire and develop 2-3 new projects in 2021.

Evan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. When not working, he enjoys gardening, traveling, snowboarding with his family, and giving back to the community. Evan resides in Westchester with his wife and three children.

    MANAGING PARTNER
    Sara received her Master’s in Social Work from NYU in 2007 and utilizes those skills to manage the human relations aspects of the company. Sara takes on overseeing various aspects of the company including rental management, interior design and acquiring properties. She shares a passion for sustainability and playing her part both personally and professionally to make our planet health

    INTERIOR DESIGNER
    Danielle is a creator who believes in the power of beautiful interiors to transform daily life. With nearly a decade of residential and commercial interior design experience, her work is best known for its functionality, timelessness, and welcoming aesthetics. Danielle received her Bachelor of Science from High Point University in Interior Design. From concept to completion her passion to create and transform living spaces shines through.

  • Hugh Wethered

    PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT
    Hugh is a Registered Architect in the State of New York and a member of the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter. His professional experience has allowed him to specialize in single-family homes, high-rise condominium developments, and luxury apartment renovations. He has cultivated an understanding and appreciation for real estate development through his work on a variety of project types and close working relationships with developer clients. An avid traveler, Hugh has been fortunate enough to visit over 40 countries to see defining works of art and architecture. It is fairly common for him to recall innovative construction details from his travels and incorporate them into his designs. Hugh received his Bachelor of Architecture from New Jersey Institute of Technology and has 15 years of professional experience.

  • Michael Walther

    DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION
    Logging over 30 years in the construction industry from Manhattan to Montauk. michael began his career as a laborer/carpenter helper working his way up to finish carpenter on high end homes on fire island. working as a carpenter michael received on the job training as a superintendent. Eventuaully becoming project manager and managing multiple projects simultaneously. always looking for a new challenge, michael moved on from fire island and spent 7 years managing construction projects on high end condominiums in Manhattan. michael now brings his well-established construction knowledge to build well development.

  • Jon Gyscek

    Director of Operations
    Jon has been in the construction industry for 20 years. After starting as a carpenter for NYC union 157, he quickly moved up to foreman and eventually construction supervisor. Overseeing foundation and reinforced concrete work on many Manhattan skyrises. His expertise ranges from foundation work to finished carpentry. After time in the Union, he began work as an Owner Representative for a high profile NYC agency. Prior to becoming a part of the team here at Build Well, Jon spent the last ten years developing his own construction company on Long Island.

    MASTER CARPENTER
    Juan is a carpenter who loves what he does, he takes pride in his job and enjoys being tested on new projects to prove to himself he can always be better. He has 10 years of experience, he also has electrical knowledge, he’s a perfectionist who puts hard work and attention to detail into his job.

    LEAD CARPENTER
    Angel started working in Build Well earlier this year and it has been a great experience for me because I found it as that kind of place where you can work while you enjoy your environment talking about coworkers, you also can enjoy the places you are working in and of course you get pay accordingly of what you deserve. My team is one of the things which makes my days enjoyable. Every day I offer my best to help the company to make a good job so we can also grow up in the industry.
